The Incident
A twenty-two year-old single man was working at what was then the Tweeter Center (Tinley Park, IL) as security personnel. He was standing near the stage when the equipment was being broken down. The technicians caused a large speaker to fall from high above him and hit him on the head. He suffered a skull-crush injury and died after a two-day coma.
The Result - A settlement was reached on behalf of the parents and sibling of the decedent.
